Visitor Guide
This church is not merely a building or a gathering place for God's people. It's a people that belong to a family of loving believers. It's a place where you can experience life and be reminded that you matter to God. Our hope is that life's distractions will take a back seat, so that you can truly experience God in our worship. Also we pray that you can be encouraged and informed by our messages each week and be taught and instructed in the ministry that has been specifically created for you. Please browse our site and find out more about our church and get in on some of our teachings that we have placed on this site to help you in your walk of God.
God Bless,
Pastor Don and Susie
Newcomers to New Hope
Welcome to New Hope! You have found a church full of imperfect people who are in love with a perfect God, and we invite you to join us on a lifetime journey of getting better acquainted with Him. We are a very simple church with only four simple goals.
It's our hope for you that you will grow with us in our love for God, Love for people, and service to God and service to people. In fact this is the heartbeat of our church.
We want to help you get connected, but it will take some effort on your part. You must attend "Next Step" which takes place at our pastors welcome luncheon. This is an informative class that meets here at the church in the cafe right after the 10:45 AM Service on the first Sunday of each month. At "Next Step" you will meet some ministry leaders and hear about the churches mission and vision, and maybe find out where you fit in to God's wonderful plan. During this time you will share a meal and learn how to connect in this body of loving believers.
Please feel free to call the church office and request more information at the welcome center.
What are we doing at New Hope?
Our mission is to teach people how to shine the "life" of Jesus in their ordinary lives. Since Jesus came to seek and save the lost, we feel compelled to follow His example.
Through various ministries of the church, we desire to introduce new people to Christ, and help them grow in their faith and become true followers of Christ.
What are we becoming at New Hope?
Our vision is to live the life of Christ as a biblically functioning community of believers. Our only reason for existence as a church is because God wants us to show the community around us what the life of Christ looks like. As we endeavor to shine the "life" of Jesus through community involvement, enriched living, and dynamic worship experiences.
Serve God
We are put here on earth to serve God. In a modern consumer world like ours it's easy to develop a consumer mindset instead of one that seeks to make a contribution. Ephesians 2:10 declares that God has created us for a life of good deeds, which He has already prepared for us to do. This refers to our service to God. We at New Hope are committed to helping you learn how to use the gifts, talents and abilities that God has endowed you with to serve Him. This is just a short list of the ministry opportunities that we have that you can serve God with. Contact Pastor Don if you are interested in serving in any way.

Serve Others
Jesus's three greatest teachings have become known as the great commitment, the great commandment, and the great commission. With these great passages we can understand that God's heart is for us to spread (shine) His love throughout the world. At New Hope this is done at the local, national, and international level.
In fact there are hundreds of ways to share God's love. Sometimes we may have to just walk across the street to reach out to our neighbors. At other times we may have to fly across the globe to reach someone Jesus has placed on our heart.
One of the easiest ways to serve others is through our HOME groups. Hebrews 10:24-25 warns us that we must fail not to assemble together as a group for worship and fellowship. Here at New Hope we have adopted a biblical model for church community where nobody walks alone. God has created us to live in fellowship with Him and others. Our groups are made up of 3-12 people who gather several times a month (different times) for fun, food, fellowship and to share their faith. Please make plans to attend "connectlink" on the 2nd Sunday of each month after the 10:45 service in the cafe to learn how you can be part of the group.
